Cat Ba is a beautiful and romantic island, located in an average elevation of 70 meters above sea level. With the pristine and grandeur beauty, Cat Ba is considered as the Pearl of the Gulf of Tonkin.

On the main island of Cat Ba, you can find a primary forest on limestone. This destination is being developed to become an ecotourism area. There are two beaches which are clean with not-too-strong wave, convenient for developing tourism and resorts: Lan Ha Bay in the southeast and Cat Gia Bay in the southwest of the island. In these area, there are a lot of beautiful limestone similar to Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long.
